JOHN CHAPTER 14 – Daily Journal Questions
🔹Day 1 – “Do not let your hearts be troubled” (John 14:1–4)
Question: Jesus tells His disciples to trust in Him as a cure for troubled hearts. What anxieties or fears am I carrying right now, and how can I entrust them to Jesus today?
🔹Day 2 – “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:5–7)
Question: Jesus doesn’t just show the way—He is the Way. In what areas of my life am I relying on my own direction or truth instead of seeking and following Christ Himself?
🔹Day 3 – “Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father” (John 14:8–11)
Question: Philip wanted to see the Father, but Jesus said He already had. How clearly do I recognize the character and presence of God in the person of Jesus?
🔹Day 4 – “You will do greater works” (John 14:12–14)
Question: Jesus promises that believers will do greater works through Him. What bold prayer or act of faith might Jesus be inviting me into that I’ve been hesitant to believe possible?
🔹Day 5 – “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15–17)
Question: Love and obedience are deeply connected. How do my daily choices reflect a genuine love for Jesus—and where might I be resisting His direction?
🔹Day 6 – The Spirit of Truth (John 14:18–26)
Question: Jesus promised the Holy Spirit to be our Helper and Teacher. How open am I to the Spirit’s guidance in my day-to-day life, and how might I become more attentive to His voice?
🔹Day 7 – “My peace I give to you” (John 14:27–31)
Question: Jesus offers a peace unlike the world’s. What does His peace look like in my current situation, and what steps can I take to embrace it more fully today?
