JOHN CHAPTER 20 – Daily Journal Questions
🔹 Day 1 – “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb” (John 20:1–2)
Question: Mary assumed the worst when she didn’t see Jesus. How often do I let fear or assumption shape my perspective instead of waiting to see what God is actually doing?
🔹 Day 2 – “He saw and believed” (John 20:3–10)
Question: John believed when he saw the empty tomb. What signs of God’s presence or power have I seen in my life that should lead me to deeper belief today?
🔹 Day 3 – “Mary!” (John 20:11–18)
Question: Jesus called Mary by name, and she recognized Him. Am I listening for Jesus to speak personally to me—and how might He be calling my name right now?
🔹 Day 4 – “Peace be with you” (John 20:19–21)
Question: Jesus brought peace into a room full of fear. What fears are locked inside me, and how can I invite Jesus to bring His peace into those spaces today?
🔹 Day 5 – “As the Father has sent Me, I am sending you” (John 20:21–23)
Question: Jesus sends His followers just as the Father sent Him. How is God calling me to live on mission—and am I resisting, delaying, or saying “yes”?
🔹 Day 6 – “Unless I see… I will never believe” (John 20:24–29)
Question: Like Thomas, I often want proof before trust. What doubts do I still carry, and how can I bring them honestly to Jesus rather than letting them isolate me?
🔹 Day 7 – “That you may believe… and have life in His name” (John 20:30–31)
Question: John wrote this Gospel so I could believe and live. How is my life different because I believe in Jesus—and what new areas might He be calling me to trust Him with?
